Eleven days. Eleven days until my due date. Except I think every day lately is "the day". I have been feeling especially weird since Sunday. Lots of cramps, pressure strange feelings. And to top things off, I have broken out in a lovely rash all over my stomach. I never had this with Ashley and Peyton. It is quite miserable.
On a positive note, after my last post, I have let go of the house selling thing. I think nesting kicked in and I set everything up for baby girl in the guest room. All of her clothes, sleepers, burp clothes, blankets, bibs, etc. Well, everything is Ashley's, I don't think baby girl is going to get much of her own. I forgot just how cute baby girl clothes are.
We also bought new furniture! Probably not the best thing to do if there is a possibility of moving, but I just could not take my living room furniture anymore. I know the flowered couch and love seat are dated (and faded) and I just felt that it was too much furniture for our living room. I have been looking at sectionals online and Ryan and I found the perfect one at our favorite furniture store in Raleigh, Home Comfort. I think I was on a high from finding the sectional that I agreed to let Ryan get new furniture for the basement. He got a leather couch and love seat, both recline and have drink holders. I must admit, they are pretty nice. But now we have the old couch, love seat and sectional from the basement in our garage.
We have had two showings in a month and a half. Not good at all, but since I have given everything to God, I know that the timing will work out how it should and maybe we should stay in our house for a bit longer. With the new living room furniture, the room is a lot more open, so I think we will be okay once baby girl gets here. Only God knows what is in store for us.
Here are some pictures of Ashley and Peyton enjoying the new rug we bought to go with the sectional (and Riley too).
We had some ice/snow in mid February so Ryan and Ashley had fun playing in it and making a snow (ice) man.
